Majouri is part of Maison de Maa group. A French company which creates and distributes high end and experiential perfumes. Majouri has been founded in 2017.

Position Overview:

  • To analyze and study the targeted markets and develop brands and products that meet their needs and are aligned with the company’s brand strategy. 
  • Ensure these products are timely available and accurately priced to secure the company’s profitability. 

Responsibility:

  • Manage the brand from A to Z (Location, Production, HR, PR and Marketing, Sales and Logistics, Procurement, Legalizations, Operations, Finance and Accounting).
  • Coordinate opening new stores and franchises, launching and supervising an E-commerce store, preparing a yearly budget, sell-out analysis, marketing plan, production plan, and distribution calendar, while implementing tools like P&L, KPIs, stock movement, etc..

        Sales

  • Arrange and follow up on sales orders abroad; follow up on payments, respect of budget assigned, negotiate terms of the contract.
  • Prepare analysis and monthly sales reports. 
  • Analyze consumer buying patterns and predict future trends.
  • Set and follow up on the sales target for the store(s), follow up on sales reports and ensure targets are reached
  • Motivate and guide the sales on how to professionally sell, cross-sell, up-sell, identify and push slow-moving items and improve their overall performance. 

         Purchasing & Logistics

  • Negotiate basic terms of the contract after placing orders (discounts, payment, and shipment terms). 
  • Check and follow up on order confirmation, prices and delivery dates. 
  • Communicate with vendors, and shipping companies to ensure shipments and products are shipped and received in a timely manner. 
  • Follow up and complete the entry of vouchers, bills and receipts into the accounting system. 
  • Perform the purchasing orders abroad and production depending on budgets and demand.
  • Communicate with the Febea about product regulations. 
  • Change and adapt products to meet cosmetic regulations changes (formulas - packaging)
  • Prepare and complete all documents necessary for trademark registration in other countries. 

         Marketing

  • Plan out, implement, and follow up on strategies related to the brand image, perception, and online and OOH marketing activities. 
  • Study customer demand by preparing, reviewing & analyzing various reports on the sales, size, quantity, year vs year, profits, losses…
  • Develop seasonal marketing, promotional and markdown plans. 
  • Allocate prices, margins and markdowns. 
  • Plan, implement, and source for new locations & increase brand awareness.
  • Ensure that visual standards are communicated and implemented across stores directly.
  • Use the ERP system as requested. 
  • Represent the company in all events (occasions, meetings and Media interviews). 
  • Attend shows and exhibitions and provide the necessary support to the direct manager there. 
  • Stay updated on new trends, new hits and upcoming brands by continuously reading perfume magazines, surfing sites, attending expos and conferences, and monitoring international markets.
  • Generate, coordinate and promote sales and marketing activities related to the brand identity and image (Social Media, events, website, billboards, etc.)

         Operation

  • Ensure regular training is provided to stores operation team (retail, Warehouse and wholesale)
  • Monitor stock levels according to sales statistics and consumer demand for buying.
  • Visit the stores regularly to ensure that all quality and operational standards (ambience, display, staff appearance and attitude) in the store are maintained and in line with the expectations. 

Skills/Requirements

Essential:

 

  • BA degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or any other similar field. 
  • Five years of overall professional experience, two of which are in a similar position 
  • Advanced level of English Language. 

Desirable

 

  • Master degree in Marketing, Business Administration or any other similar field. 
  • Experience in a multinational company.
  • Experience in a perfume-related company.
